The Israeli settler-colonial authorities are unlawfully deporting French-Palestinian lawyer and human rights defender Salah Hammouri from his hometown, Jerusalem, to France for “breach of allegiance” to the occupying state.

URGENT INTERVENTION NEEDED AS FRENCH-PALESTINIAN HUMAN RIGHTS LAWYER SALAH HAMMOURI FACES IMMINENT FORCIBLE DEPORTATION UNDER “BREACH OF ALLEGIANCE”

Imprisoned Palestinian-French human rights lawyer, Salah Hammouri, has been informed that he will be forcibly deported in three days’ time for “breach of allegiance” to Israel, following the revocation of his Jerusalem ID. Salah’s deportation will be a definitive step in Israel’s prolonged harassment and targeting of him and his work through arbitrary arrests, travel bans, surveillance spyware, and family separation.

Letter to President Macron from Mr. Hammouri

Today I am in a Bastille called “Ofer” in the occupied Palestinian Territory, being held for a third time under ‘administrative detention’. There have been no charges issued against me, and me and my fellow prisoners are subject to military courts similar to those that sentenced General De Gaulle to execution and citizenship revocation.
